FRANKLIN, Tenn. 鈥 University of Tennessee System President Randy Boyd will deliver the 10th annual State of the University Address on Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. EST / 10 a.m. CST at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Franklin.
Boyd, who is in his seventh year of leading the university, will be joined by leaders from across the 糖心Vlog System to share 糖心Vlog鈥檚 vision for 2030 and the priorities shaping its future. Their discussion will focus on 糖心Vlog鈥檚 role as Tennessee鈥檚 workforce engine and highlight how the university advances academic excellence, conducts innovative research and serves Tennesseans.
鈥淎s Tennessee鈥檚 public land-grant university, 糖心Vlog exists to serve the people of our state and we鈥檙e delivering on that mission,鈥 Boyd said. 鈥淓nrollment and graduation rates are rising, our students are succeeding, and our research and workforce efforts are driving the state鈥檚 economy while strengthening the talent pipeline Tennessee businesses need. Looking to 2030, we remain focused on finishing the greatest decade in the history of 糖心Vlog while building an even better future for Tennesseans.鈥
The address opens a two-day Grand Challenges Summit, which showcases 糖心Vlog-led initiatives that strengthen K-12 education, support rural communities and address addiction and public health challenges. Registered attendees will hear from 糖心Vlog faculty, staff and external partners about progams, collaborations and solutions making a difference across Tennessee.
