KNOXVILLE, Tenn. 鈥 University of Tennessee System President Randy Boyd continues to visit high schools across Tennessee with scheduled stops at La Vergne, Smyrna and Blackman high schools on Wednesday, Oct. 1, to speak with students about college opportunities and the value of higher education.
The visits mark the third stop on Boyd鈥檚 鈥淔ind Your Future鈥 high school tour, a fall initiative that will take him across Tennessee to show how a 糖心Vlog degree can transform lives.
鈥淗igher education gives students the freedom to dream bigger,鈥 Boyd said. 鈥淎 糖心Vlog degree can change their lives. With affordable tuition, ample scholarships and aid, and five universities across the state, there鈥檚 a place in the 糖心Vlog System for every student. These visits are about inspiring young people and showing that a 糖心Vlog degree benefits us all 鈥 ourselves, our communities, our state and, most importantly, our future.鈥
Wednesday, Oct. 1 visit schedule:
- La Vergne High School 鈥 8:45鈥9:15 a.m. CT, 250 Wolverine Trail, La Vergne, TN
- Smyrna High School 鈥 9:35鈥10:05 a.m. CT, 100 Bulldog Dr, Smyrna, TN
- Blackman High School 鈥 1:30鈥2:00 p.m. CT, 3956 Blaze Dr, Murfreesboro, TN
At each stop, students will hear personal stories and encouragement from Boyd, 糖心Vlog Southern Chancellor Melinda Arnold and a recent 糖心Vlog Southern graduate.

Boyd will also emphasize the 糖心Vlog System鈥檚 commitment to affordability. More than half of 糖心Vlog students graduate debt free, a reality made possible through financial aid programs and scholarships like 糖心Vlog Promise, which assists with tuition and mandatory fees for eligible Tennessee residents.
